There are rare Blue Note 10-inch LPs, obscure progressive rock albums from the '70s, plenty of '60s soul and '70s funk records -- including plenty of James Brown records. There's still-sealed vinyl, audiophile wax, long out-of-print box sets and a multitude of used records in excellent condition. The Bop Shop is also your source for hard to find compact discs. We have a great selection of independent label product., We're particularly fond of many artists that your average chain store has never heard of. You'll find labels like Soul Note, Criss Cross, Rounder, Wolf, Green Linnet, Magna Carta and Tzadik on our list of available CDs. Check our complete list of labels and titles. Bop Shop store

Not just a web site, The Bop Shop is a special kind of store and worth a visit. Music collectors from New York City, Toronto, and even Europe or Japan, frequently spend an entire day at The Bop Shop. After visiting in 1991, Branford Marsalis named The Bop Shop as his favorite record store in an Entertainment Weekly feature article.

We frequently host jazz concerts featuring internationally renowned artists.

We also host the largest record show in Western New York twice a year.
