With your MCs AIRPLAY, featuring Jeff Peden and Rick SImpson, the evening promises a fast-paced variety show in the vaudeville tradition, featuring juggling, clowning, unicycling, music, and a touch of magic and madness. Join Airplay and several other eclectic and unique Rochester performers for a truly memorable evening of fun. Jeff Peden, founder of Airplay, has performed in and around Rochester for over 20 years. As a long time supporter of circus arts in the Rochester area he has taught juggling classes at RIT, and produced the hugely acclaimed RIT Spring Juggle-In Public Show to sold out crowds for 5 years running. A lifelong learner, he has taken classes in Improv, Comedia Del Arte, and been coached by masters from Cirque De Soleil. His own skills range from unicycling and juggling to fire eating and stiltwalking. It is his greatest joy to introduce audiences to new and exciting talented performers and support the performing arts in Rochester. Rick Simpson was the founder of Just Foolin’ Around and together with Jeff Peden performed that act at fairs and festivals in the general Rochester area from 1989 – 2005. Currently in “semi-retirement” from the world of foolery, he keep busy teaching at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and doing a weekly radio show on WRUR.
